Leaving on the 19th for 9 days...

Look out NYC — here comes The New Victorian Ruralist.
I'd love to hear your shopping recommendations!
We'll be returning to our favorites, but it's always nice
to add some new spots to the itenerary. Already on our
favorites list are: John Derian, ABC Carpet & Home,
Upper Rust, Obscura, and Paula Rubenstein. Please
share your favorites. We'll talk about clothing later!

  8. Gracious Home, of course. But also the antiques store on the corner of 72nd and 3rd. It is my favorite favorite and one day maybe I'll be able to actually buy something there.... ; )

  9. B4 It Was Cool at 89 E. Hudson St. for fabulous industrial lighting. I have not been there yet, but my son who lives there has, and will be taking me next time I visit. Can't wait!

  10. I live in NYC in the village. Get out to caroll gardens on smith street. There are tons of interesting stores there. There are also some amazing antique stores with industrial furniture on Atlantic ave in Brooklyn. I'm renovating my loft so I have been to them all. Noholoft.blogspot.com
