17th century ecclesiastical to 20th century industrial.

It all looks like a little decadent corner of Heaven to me!

Eric Cohler's Accessories...

A paper mache deer.
The combination of ikat and Louis XVI chairs.

There are more great accessories in this bedroom, but

everything just seems to fade into the background

as the striking artwork takes center stage. Cohler

commissioned this combination of works by

American artists John Singer Sargent (a favorite of mine)

and Edward Hopper.

brand experience.
A boy riding a tea kettle stag, a train/hot air balloon hybrid,
a lion unicycle, or a school of mallard typewriters — hard to say
which is my favorite.

then passing them on.

understated, timeless, and uniquely
beautiful.

Mercury Glass...

I realize mercury glass reached its peak some time ago —

still, I find these small votice chalices bring a nice, subtle

sparkle to holiday displays. Besides, I think mercury

is timeless — so nevermind those that

declare the "trend" is over.

This shelf at Finderskeepers Market is full of

different shapes, sizes, and textures.

Sometimes transparent. Sometimes opaque.

Always moody and New Victorian.
