Luddite artistry...

Luddite artistry is alive and well with Mr. Yen's papercut designs.
Each are cut by hand with a scalpel and created
specifically for your order. I absolutely love
this graphic trio of whales.
The detail in this typographic papercut is mind-boggling.
Why is raven like a writing desk?
Anyone know the answer? Perhaps
only Lewis Carroll himself held the
key to the riddle.

  1. The Raven and a writing desk are both mediators between life and death. The eyes and ears, thought and memory.

  3. What a marvelous site! I love all things Luddite. I worry that a raven is like a blocked writing desk and caws, "Nevermore!"
    Do you tweet, sir?

  4. A raven is like a writing desk because Poe wrote on both.

Love your blog. Smart, beautiful and a great sense of humor. If it were a person, I would propose.
