John Woodrow Kelley's Clinton Hill Brownstone...

Painter John Woodrow Kelley creates modern-day
versions of Greek mythology. Here, one of his paintings
watches over a cozy bed with a ticking mattress and
relaxed pillows. The Robsjohn-Gibbings Klismos chair
was purchased when John was still a student at
The Arts Students League.
A bronze sculpture of the 'Dying Gaul' also sits nearby.
I love a still-life created by the tools of an artist at work.
At the age of 17, John bought this engraving of the Paris Opera
while visiting Europe for the first time.
Discoveries and collections fill a kitchen table.
John's garden room.
