More Douglas Friedman...

Yesterday's Douglas Friedman post was

certainly popular — so I am sharing more

today from this very talented (and handsome)

photographer. He has almost inspired me

to grow a smokin' 70's stache!

The images I'm featuring here single

out a design element, accessory, or color story

that I am often drawn to. These elements just so

happen to show up in these spaces captured

so beautifully by Mr. Friedman. Here, we

see the use of branches I am so fond of.

With design blogging, we often neglect to note

the photographer that captures the well-designed

spaces we are talking about. For this post, it is

all about Mr. Friedman's work. One exception

is this fan-freaking-tastic space from

Roman & Williams.

The self-contained library is brilliant.

Now that is one bold floor lamp! I love

industrial fixtures like this. While we're on

Unconventional artwork is a favorite

of mine as well.

Grey and Red! Love it.

What a handsome collection of vintage tools.

Given the right opportunity, I would

absolutely go with this "custom" console.

Noble and pristine at the exact same time.

Gorgeous wall finish.

Small interesting tables repurposed

into small interesting desks

always appeal to me.
