Atlanta is such a great restaurant city. Some favorites include Abattoir, Richard Blais' The Spence, and JCT Kitchen & Bar. After The Optimist on Wednesday night, Thursday we'll visit White Oak Kitchen for the first time. Still, we can never pass up a chance to sample Hugh Acheson and executive chef Ryan Smith's always amazing creations at Empire State South -- so we will head there Friday night. We'll leave Saturday open for a little spontaneity -- then enjoy brunch at Bantam + Biddy on Sunday before heading back home. Food marathon? Perhaps. However, don't think we will not be working very hard at the Atlanta market to discover wonderful new additions for Finderskeepers Market. We can't wait to share all our discoveries with you very soon!

You guys are killing me!! I'm not there this show but those two restaurants will be on the list in January. I found this restaurant by mistake last market and I will never miss it again. Interior is ok (although the women's bathroom had a giant matador on the wall!) but the food- omg, my new fav: http://www.alma-atlanta.com/. RIGHT ACROSS FROM THE WESTIN!!
ReplyDeleteHow fabulous!! I adore Atlanta and Empire State South in particular. Sounds like a chic and decadent trip. Have a wonderful time!
