Not sure why, but "precious" objects sometime come calling. True, there isn't a cloying cuteness here — but a worn mystery that draws me in. Perhaps my Grandmother is speaking to me — telling me to relax a bit, explaining that I need to do some porch sitting with friends. Perhaps she is reassuring me sweetness is not a thing of the past.
