The combination of raw, weathered wood and the sheen from the metallic grasscloth wallpaper
creates a very orginal backdrop for a few lovely desk accessories. Oh how I enjoy seeing
something new and refreshing!

ReplyDeleteOriginal and very beautiful ! Last Christmas, we visited a castle in the southern Netherlands. It was recently renovated. The dining room was beautifully decorated. I could not immediately determine how the walls had been treated. From a distance it looked like old patina. As I got closer I saw to my amazement that they had papered the walls with a gold-like wallpaper. The radiation was like authentic patina. That made the room looks so charming!

This is so perfect - I love the oversized paperclip and curvy lamp. The mix of textures here is spectacular including the shiny coat on dog in picture! Just perfect.
