Is it a rubber tree plant? Whoops! There it goes! ;)
First thing I thought of was an avocado .. you can grow them from the pit. Here is a photo of one pulled off the internet.http://willsavocados.com/UserFiles/avocado-tree-kids.jpg
Ficus elastica?
I agree with Natasha - it definitely looks like a type of ficus. I was thinking Ficus Lyrata that went unpruned.xo isa
looks like a rubber tree plant to me. i worked in a hippy plant store in the 70's. that is my guess. joan@anythinggoeshere
does look like an avocado tree.....xxcallie
I agree with Natasha...if that's not an exact ID on the species, it's definitely the genus.
Indeed it´s a ficus elestica... a rubber tree!
Looks like a hoya to me, do a search for hoyas on the google images. They get lovely clusters of fragrant flowers.
It's a old fashion Rubber Plant. Looks like it has been cut back several times so that it branched out in multiple branches.
ficus elastica robusta
