Today's Object of My Affection...

Cire Trudon candles are a true thing of beauty.
It is now the oldest French manufacturer of candles
and produces sublimely perfect fragrances like
Odeur de Lune with its top note of metalized sulphur,
heart of black coal, and bottom notes of seasoned smoked woods.
Another favorite is Ernesto that highlights
tobacco, patchouli, and bergamote.
I love this display with the brass catalog markers holding
details for each fragrance.
This color saturated NYC showroom creates a theatrical backdrop
for the drama that unfolds as you experience each scent.
Another great display idea includes the candles
perched on little museum ledges.
