Me too. My "office" has a big bed that is piled high with pillows and most often is home to a large hairy Pup. The books are hidden in antique chests because putting shelves on these 100 year old walls requires more work that we are prepared to deal with. I want that chair too.
What *does* your office look like? I imagine it being very old world, French-Edwardian, Sherlock Holmes meets Balthazars...wait, that's my dream office! ;)
Sad to report it is cramped and not-so-organized. Still, it sports a vintage Bavarian bakery table, a little farmhouse desk, and a massive armoire I use to hide most of the clutter. I just love the idea of being able to really spread out all my design tools. For now, I'll make my little corner work. Your dream office does sound... dreamy.
At least you do have those nice pieces James...here's to a wide open, spread everything out, well organized, loaded with character office of your dreams in the hopefully near future!
Tuesday - Saturday, 11 - 5 (call if you'd like for us to stay later)
Closed Sunday and Monday
"James Snowden is an interior decorator, shopkeeper and, as he styles himself, 'blog curator’ based in Kentucky... He’s a blogger of few words but many beautiful pictures of things that have caught his eye - furniture and curios that are gently distressed, and interiors of an almost ethereal stillness. It is all seductively soulful and makes you want to hop on a plane to visit his shop with a fistful of dollars." -- Gareth Wyn Davies, The Telegraph
