Zach Motl in The New York Times...

OK, there are no excuses for not having fun with your home.
Just look at Zach Motl and what he has done with his
178 square foot apartment in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn.
In only three years, Zach has stylishly outfitted his
living space with a budget of only $2500!
The boy has talent.
Zach is currently a junior designer at Robert Couturier &
Associates. Here, you can see his successful attempt
at ebonizing his own floors.
Mr. Motl once taught sailing at Long Island yacht clubs.
I certainly think you can see that influence in his
living quarters. The color is saturated and amazing —
surely something he inherited while interning for Miles Redd.
Remember, this is only 178 square feet of living space.
I love his little bohemian kitchen station.
Groupings are key when defining "rooms"
in small spaces. As for storage, create it
anywhere you can.
One of many wonderful vignettes created
by Zach in his jam-packed abode.
