Cork it!
Anthropologie is currently celebrating Earth Day with the power of cork!
With sustainability in mind, Anthropologie has transformed stoppers into displays that will be featured throughout April.
Brilliant, right?
The cork globes are amazing.
When the displays come down, the cork will move on to Cork ReHarvest where they'll become new flooring, paper pulp, and more. Renew! Recycle! Reuse! _____

Stock Vintage...
During our trip last summer to New York City, we discovered one of the most inspiring retail spaces I have ever seen. Stock Vintage, located in the East Village, focuses on early 20th century men's wear. Owner Melissa Howard also collects home furnishings from the same era, and you'll see the mix as soon as you enter the shop's striking facade.
In the windows, wooden airplane propellers are featured. Beside the front door, a cobbler's shoe form hints at the amazing collection of vintage shoes inside.
All you NVR readers know how much I enjoy repetition in design, so of course this collection of leather belts caught my eye.
If you find yourself in the East Village, make sure you stop by and take a peek.

Design Mash-up...
I do love a fearless designer that is unafraid to mix every style in the book. Here you'll discover that mid-century modern, farmhouse rustic, and ruralism were meant to live together.
Throw in a little Rachel Ashwell shabiness and the look continues in a living room._____

Swedish Summer Cottage...
A little bit of sunshine certainly improves my mood. The sun is shining today here in Kentucky, but my mind is with this amazingly beautiful summer cottage in Sweden.
Just look at that light! I also love the dry stacked stone console. _____
