noma...

Labeled as "the best restaurant in the world" — Noma is known for its reinvention of Nordic cuisine. The words nordisk (Nordic) and mad (food) create the acronym that gives the restaurant its name. Noma is housed in an old warehouse on the waterfront in the Christianshavn neighborhood of central Copenhagen.
Enter, and the experience begins.

The two Michelin star restaurant is run by chef Rene Redzepi. The beautiful interior design is by Signe Bindslev-Henriksen.

Stunning, isn't it?

Somehow, even the graffiti wall works for me.

Have you ever seen such beautiful plates of food?

True artistry is visibly alive and well at Noma.

Words for moving forward...

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light not our darkness that frightens us. We ask ourselves 'who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous?' Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others. — Marianne Williamson

Easy, Breezy, Leila Lindholm...

Swedish TV chef Leila Lindholm's home is full of personality due to her perfectly curated collections and comfortable furnishings.
I like how the furniture arrangements speak more of function than decoration.
Here, a well-appointed bookshelf in the family room holds some
wonderfully nostalgic accessories.

I love this book wallpaper hung behind a classic desk. Its monochromatic coloration and stylized design almost mimics a bamboo or matchstick texture on the walls.

I love inspired retail spaces like this one. Anyone know where this place is?
